We’re so very proud! Regina’s Door (the business owned by one of our film’s main protagonists, Regina Evans) won “Social Changemaker” at the 9th Annual Oakland Indie Awards. The Social Changemaker is “a socially responsible business or individual that uses creative approaches to give back to the community and address economic and environmental issues.” Regina’s boutique specializes in vintage dresses and consignment pieces. She works closely with the anti sex-trafficking organization, Love Never Fails, which provides safe housing, job training and mentorship for women and girls who want to escape the life. Congrats, Regina! We love you.
